I often pinch my hair in the zipper of my coat - I’ve already found some bread crumbs and the sticker from a fruit in my hair, nothing more. The image of a bat tangled in long wavy hair appears to me like a beautiful cinematic vision, a strangest remake of ‘Birds’, anyway it is beautiful.

Since I arrived in Berlin, (with no knowledge of the German language), I no longer understand the people talking in the streets. In Paris and London, it had become a common distraction.

The rules of the game are simple: a. You must be in the street - preferably alone b. You must walk steadily, rather slowly, but never stop or slow down c. You must listen d. You must watch -----> with discretion e. You must construct (finally) the context of this conversation based on the visual details you have intercepted

Today a group of young Americans walked by me on the sidewalk - as they spoke loud and in English, I heard despite social distancing, and understood: ‘Oh man, I can’t believe she has a boyfriend. Did you know? ’ There were 2 young men about 18 years old, both in shorts, one of them had a basketball.
